Homemade Summer Maple Mint Lemonade Recipe you'll want to try
Summer is never complete without a healthy Lemonade to keep you refreshed after a hot day. You'll appreciate this Homemade Summer Maple Mint Lemonade made with freshly squeezed Lemon Juice. It's a healthy alternative to unhealthy sweetened Beverages with too much Sugar and artificial sweeteners. You can adjust the Maple Syrup to taste. This fresh Lemonade is rich in vitamin C and other essential Vitamins and you can easily make this healthy Summer drink at home to keep you refreshed on a hot Summer afternoon.
1 cup freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
8 Mint Leaves
5 cups cold Water
1/4 to 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
Make Mint Juice.
Grind fresh Mint Leaves with a Grinder, Pestle or simply grind with the back of a tablespoon and mix together with water.
Pass the mixture through a Sieve and pour the fine Juice into a Gallon Pitcher.
Combine Water with Lemon Juice.
Squeeze out the Juice from fresh Lemons, you need just 1 cup to make this fresh Lemonade. Pour the water and Lemon Juice into the Gallon Pitcher.
Stir in Maple Syrup.
Pour 1/4 - 1/2 cup Maple Syrup into the Gallon Pitcher and stir the ingredients together.
Adjust Maple Syrup to taste. You can add less Maple Syrup to cut down on Calories.
Add some Ice Cubes and serve immediately or chill to serve later,
