Best Ever Super Soft Spinach Bread you*ll love to taste



I love this delicious freshly baked Bread. It*s so soft and one of my best ever Spinach Bread. Baking Bread at home is fun and giving your precious loaf some beautiful designs and patterns is just part of the home baking fun. This yummy Bread has beautiful prints and taste super delicious that you'll definitively ask for more slices.


Making Bread at home is not that easy, you need patience to achieve the best result. You can make your simple Spinach Bread at home with fresh Spinach, Soy Milk, ground Flaxseed with few other ingredients and sure the outcome will be great. You just need to watch the tutorial Video and with a printable recipe in hand you'll make your own special loaf.


INGREDIENTS

Green Dough;

  • 2 Tbsp warm Soy Milk (slightly warm not hot)

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

  • 1/4 cup warm Water (not hot water)

  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 4 tbsp Organic Cane Sugar

  • 125g fresh baby Spinach

  • 1 tbsp Ground Flaxseed for the Spinach puree

  • 1/2 cup Cold Water

  • 4 tbsp Soy Milk for the Spinach puree

White Dough:

  • 1/8 tsp Salt

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour

  • 2 Tbsp Soy Milk

  • 1 Tsp Active Dry Yeast

  • 3 tbsp Warm Water

  • 2 tbsp Organic Cane Sugar

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Flaxseed

  • 2 tbsp Soy Milk

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Green Dough;

  1. Dissolve the Yeast with warm water and allow to rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Boil the fresh Spinach for 2 minutes and transfer to the cold Water.

  3. Drain with hand and transfer directly to the Blender.

  4. Blend with 1 tbsp Ground Flaxseed and 4 tbsp Soy Milk and set aside.

  5. In a large Bowl combine Sugar with the wet ingredients except the yeast mixture.

  6. Mix the All purpose Flour with Salt and combine with the other ingredients while adding the Active Yeast Mixture.

  7. Knead by hands and form a green Ball.

  8. Put the green Ball in a medium Bowl, cover with Kitchen Towel and set aside

White Dough:

  1. Whisk 1/2 tsp Ground Flaxseed with 2 tbsp slightly warm Soy Milk and set aside.

  2. Combine the Sugar with the wet ingredients in a large Bowl and stir in the Flaxseed-Soy mixture.

  3. Mix 1/8 tsp Salt with 1 cup All purpose flour and combine with the other ingredients.

  4. Knead with hands for the best result.

  5. Knead to form a white Dough Ball and place it into a medium Bowl

  6. Cover with Kitchen Towel.and place the 2 Bowls in a warm room for 1 and half hours to 2 hours.

  7. Flour the work surface properly (very necessary)

  8. Roll out the Dough Balls after 2 hours to form 2 equal white and green rectangular shapes,

  9. Cut the Dough into stripes and combine the color stripes together (watch Video)

  10. Roll the stripe gradually upwards to form a Bread shape,

  11. Grease a standard loaf Pan lightly and place the Bread Dough into it.

  12. Cover again with Kitchen Towel for 35 minutes.

  13. Preheat your Oven to 350° F

  14. Brush the top after 35 minutes with Soy Milk using a Silicone Brush (optional)

  15. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is slightly browned (Baking time vary depending on your Oven so it's better to keep eye on your loaf and confirm with instant read thermometer.

  16. Allow to cool completely for at least 5 hours before cutting.

General Tips

Make sure that your work surface is floured properly before rolling out the Dough, Use your hand to rub the flour on the work surface to be sure that the surface is coated enough. The Spinach Dough (green Dough is a bit sticky) so you must flour the surface properly before working with it.


You can add 1 teaspoon of flour if the Dough is still sticky after Kneading or 1 teaspoon of Water if the Dough is still strong after Kneading. Always add gradually when it is necessary but you must knead your Dough properly to get the best result (watch Video)


Brushing the Bread with Soy Milk is optional but necessary if you'll love to create a shiny beautiful Bread with a delicious Crust.


STORAGE: Store your Bread unwrapped at room temperature to maintain the freshness of your delicious loaf, Wrap with Kitchen foil or plastic wrap immediately after cutting and enjoy within 48 hours
