Best ever Chia Seed Bread made with Matcha Powder and Turmeric you'll ever love to try

Homemade Bread is simply the best and this Chia Bread is one of the best. My beautiful and colorful Loaf is made with a mix of healthy simple ingredients that you can easily find in your Kitchen and tastes super delicious. I love the special taste and flavor of this wholesome Bread. It's a perfect Bread that you can enjoy at any time of the day.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 2 tsp Matcha Powder

  • 2 1/2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

  • 1/4 cup warm Water

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric

  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 6 tbsp Maple Syrup mixed with 1 tbsp Coconut Sugar

  • 8 tbsp slightly warm Coconut Milk

  • 3 cups All Purpose Flour

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your Oven to 350° F

  2. Mix the dry yeast with warm water and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Whisk the Chia Seeds with 3 tbsp of Coconut Milk.

  4. Combine together with the other ingredients while adding the Yeast mixture gradually

  5. Knead the Dough by hands and knead until completely smooth.

  6. Add few drops of Oil or Water if the Dough is too dry, add a few drops at a time while kneading or add a little water to offset wetness if the Dough is too wet.

  7. Divide the Dough into 3 equal portions.

  8. Roll the first portion into a Ball shape and place into a Bowl

  9. Knead second portion with Turmeric powder, roll to form a yellow Ball and place in a Bowl.

  10. Knead the third portion with Matcha powder, roll to form a green Ball and place into a Bowl.

  11. Cover the 3 Bowls with clean Towels in a warm room for 1-2 hours

  12. Roll out the 3 Dough Balls (3 equal rectangular shapes)

  13. Cut them in half and place on top of each other.

  14. Place the yellow rectangular Dough at the top.

  15. Turn the Dough upside down and fold into shape (watch Video)

  16. Grease a standard Bread loaf Pan with Vegetable Oil and place the Dough into the Pan.

  17. Cover again for 35 minutes.

  18. Mix 2 tbsp of Coconut Milk with 1/2 tsp of Maple Syrup and brush on top of your Bread using Silicone Brush (optional)

  19. Bake in a preheated Oven for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown (baking time varies depending on the type of Oven, Pan size)

STORAGE

Store your Bread fresh for a short period of time. Homemade Breads are more nutritious but contains no preservatives so your Bread should be enjoyed as fresh as possible. Put the Bread into an airtight Plastic Container or Bread storage Bag and keep at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours.
