Make Healthy eating delicious with Tasty nourishing Strawberry Bars Recipe.



You' ll love these soft healthy delicious Bars that tastes super delicious and melts easily in the mouth. This easy Strawberry Bars Recipe is made with healthy ingredients for body nourishment. They are made with white whole-wheat flour, ground Almonds, Strawberries and other healthier ingredients and completely dairy-free. The tasty Crust is made with freshly squeezed Citrus Juice and topped with delicious Strawberry filling.


These Vegan Strawberry Bars are so soft that it easily melts in the mouth and should be left to cool completely for at least 7 hours at room temperature before cutting. I usually make healthier Strawberry Bars during Strawberry Season to add more nutrition and I love the nutty and tasty flavor. Baked goods with whole wheat flour has most times denser or drier texture than baked goods with refined All purpose flour but it has more nutritional advantage over most refined flours due to its vitamin content and also perfect for weight watchers. This healthier dessert recipe is easy to make after watching the step by step Video.

Ingredients for the Whole wheat-Almond Crust:

  • 3 cups white whole-wheat flour

  • 1 cup ground Almonds

  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 8-10 tablespoons Orange Juice (feel the texture and add more juice if necessary)


Strawberry filling:

  • 2 cups chopped Strawberries

  • 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup

  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest

  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt


Instructions:

Whole wheat-Almond Crust:

  1. Combine the ingredients for the Crust and mix with Electric mixer or Hand mixer until well combined.

  2. Always feel the texture with hand and add Orange Juice gradually if the Dough it too dry. Increasing the quantity of Juice gradually but not adding more than a tablespoon at a time will definitely moisten the Dough.

  3. Press the Dough into a rectangular Baking Tray.

  4. 1 used 42cm x 29cm x 4cm Baking Tray.

  5. You can cut recipe in half to decrease the serving.


Strawberry Filling:

  1. Boil the chopped Strawberries on a Stove and stir constantly over a medium heat.

  2. Add the ingredients for the Strawberry filling gradually.

  3. Reduced the Strawberry filling to half and turn off the heat.

  4. Stir in 1 more tablespoon of Cornstarch, mix and pour the puree into the prepared Crust.

  5. Bake in a preheated Oven until lightly browned


Baking Time 40-45 minutes

Prep Time 25 minutes

Total time 70 minutes
