Amazing Mango Strawberry filling pilled into a healthy Mango Pie Shell to satisfy your sweet tooth



I love Fruit Pies especially healthier Fruit Pies made with juicy Fruits. Using Fruits for our Pies is a great and easier way to boost our Vitamin and Mineral intake and cut less on calories.

Adding Sugar to this Pie might not be necessary because of the natural sweetness of Fruits especially when using organic Fruits in Season.

I added just 1 teaspoon of Maple Syrup but it can still be omitted and sure the Pie will be tasty and delicious. This Vegan Pie is made with No Butter and completely Dairy-Free and Egg-Free. My amazing tasty Fruit Pie is for any Occasion with delicious Mango Strawberry filling from juicy succulent fresh Strawberries and Mangoes pilled into a sweet homemade Mango shell.

This Dinner Party and family gathering rich Pie is a stunning sweet Pie that can be enjoyed for any Occasion and a perfect dessert for everyone.

My incredible tasty sweet homemade Mango Crust is without Sugar, Butter or Egg and has the natural sweetness and flavor of Mango. The combination of healthy juicy Fruits pilled into this sweet Pie Crust is ultimate and one of my Best-Ever Pie Recipe.


Crust Ingredients:

2 cups chopped Mangoes

150ml Vegetable Oil

3 cups All Purpose Flour

1/2 tsp Turmeric

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Salt

7-9 tablespoons of Water (Feel the texture an add more if needed)


Filling:

1 cup chopped fresh Strawberries

1 cup chopped fresh Mangoes

1 teaspoon Maple Syrup

1 teaspoon Cornstarch

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/4 cup chopped Mint Leaves


Topping:

1/4 cup fresh sliced Strawberries

1/4 cup fresh diced Mangoes

Mint Leaves

Cut-out shapes from leftover Dough (optional)


Instructions:

Reduced Mango Puree;

  1. Wash, peel and cut the the 2 Mangoes in small chunks or dice the Mangoes.

  2. Blend the diced Mangoes with the Fruit Mixer until smooth.

  3. Pour the puree in a medium Saucepan.

  4. Bring to a boil on a Stove at a medium to low heat while stirring constantly.

  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric for flavor and brighter colour.

  6. Stir constantly until completely reduce and thick.

  7. Transfer the thick puree to a small Bowl, and leave it at a room temperature for 10 minutes.

  8. Cover and put it in the Refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.

Pie Crust:

  1. Combine the dry ingredients together.

  2. Transfer the mixed dry ingredients to a food processor or you can still mix with your hands.

  3. Add the reduced Mango puree made from 2 Mangoes.

  4. Mix and add 150ml of Vegetable Oil.

  5. Feel the texture and add water gradually starting from just 1 tablespoon.

  6. Roll out the Dough and fit it comfortably in your Pie Plate or Pie Pan.

  7. Bake it in a preheated Oven (350° F) for 12 minutes

Filling;

  1. Combine the chopped Mangoes and Strawberries in a large Bowl.

  2. Mix with Cornstarch, Maple Syrup, Vanilla Extract and chopped Mint Leaves.

  3. Pour the mix into the partially baked Mango Pie Shell.

  4. Top with sliced Strawberries, diced Mangoes and Mint Leaves.

  5. Cut out some shapes from the leftover Dough and decorate your Pie.

  6. Bake in a preheated Oven-350° F

  7. Bake for 13-15 minutes (Baking time varies,so keep eye on your pie and adjust baking time accordingly)
