INGREDIENTS
4 cups of strawberries
4 tablespoons of maple syrup
1/2 cup of melted Vegan butter
3 cups of all purpose flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder
1 1/2 cups of almond milk
3 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 tablespoon of coconut sugar or organic cane sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Wash and slice the strawberries in half from top to bottom. Add 1 tablespoons of coconut sugar
or organic cane sugar, mix and set aside.
Mix together the dry ingredients and start adding gradually the wet ingredients. Mix everything together with an electric mixer or hand mixer until smooth.
Pour the melted butter into the baking dish and pour the entire batter into the dish.
Place the strawberries on top of the batter.
Put the dish inside the oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle come out clean.
Let it cool at room temperature completely before serving.
