Delicious Homemade Mini Apple Pies Recipe

I love Apple Pie and mini Apple Pies has always been my preference due to the size. These mini Pies are special and so tasty, good for take away and can be served as Party snacks and perfect for every Occasion. The taste of these mini Pies made with reduced Mango Sauce can never be compared with our usual Applesauce that remains a bit watery in the mini Pies even after Baking. I have tried the two recipes and has made my observation that the combination of Mango taste and flavor with the chopped Apples blends so much and perfect for these mini Pies. You might not need to add Sugar again considering the sweetness and rich flavor of reduced Mango Sauce.
Crust Ingredients;
2 cups All purpose Flour
1/4 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp cane sugar
1 Tsp orange extract
1/2 cup diced vegan butter
Filling;
3 large Apples (chopped)
2 Tbsp thick plain Mango Sauce
1 Tbsp cane sugar
2 Tbsp roasted chopped Hazelnuts
1 Tsp ground ginger
1/4 Tsp Salt
How to make thick plain Mango Sauce for the filling;
Peel and chop 2 fresh Mangoes.
Blend the chopped Mangoes with 3 Tbsp Orange Juice
Transfer to a Saucepan and stir continuously over a low heat until reduced and thick.
Allow to cool
